Meet Adam Griffin, Founder and Chief Acupuncturist at Acutonix

Adam Griffin, L.Ac., MSOM, is the owner of Acutonix Wellness Center, and founder of the ‘SciaticaFix’ system and the ‘PCOS to Pregnancy’ protocol - an amazing natural fertility solution.

Adam is a California Licensed Acupuncturist who trained at the famous Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley. During his extensive training both in Santa Fe and Beijing, Adam decided to specialize in Orthopedic acupuncture and Chinese medical fertility enhancement. As an intercollegiate athlete, he became acutely aware of the role acupuncture could play in healing sports injuries and conditions related to chronic pain. His post graduate work included working toward a specialization in rheumatology and sports medicine with world class leaders such as Fred Lerner, Dr. Hua Gu, and Richard Tan.

In 1999, Adam opened Acutonix in Venice, California, on the world famous Abbot Kinney Blvd. This was an incredibly exciting time, as the clinic became very popular and grew quickly to become a leading center for the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles. During the initial phase of Acutonix, Adam began working with women who had issues with fertility. One of these patients wrote an article for a leading magazine in Los Angeles on Western and Eastern approaches to fertility and within this article, she spoke highly of her treatments with Adam and, by demand, Acutonix grew as a center for the treatment of infertility and women’s health. At this point, Adam Griffin decided to expand his knowledge of women’s health issues and studied in Beijing and at home with leaders in the field of assisted reproductive technologies, including Mike Berkley and Bob Flaws.

Today, Acutonix focuses on Sciatica, back pain and women’s health concerns, specifically PCOS and infertility. Adam has spent decades refining a specialized technique to approach the treatment of PCOS and related hormonal disharmonies called the ‘PCOS to Pregnancy’ protocol. This has become a huge part of the work we do at Acutonix. Adam also has a keen interest in nutrition and food-based approaches to wellness. He utilizes varied approaches in the treatment of each person and uses food as an integral part of his care. His food ideals are carried forward from the Weston Price and Epi-Paleo tradition espoused by Neurologist Jack Kruse. Adam firmly believes in the necessity of healthy fats and limiting processed foods in our modern diet. He is currently working on two books that incorporate his vision of a healthy community through food and natural medicine.

Adam loves to play golf, cook for his family, backpack, fly-fish, and surf. He works with clients around the world teaching them his ‘SciaticaFix’ system for back pain, and teaching families how to naturally supercharge male and female fertility.
